Seven Instagram Feeds Inspiring Me Right Now
Alright, it's official - I've been bitten by the Instagram bug!
Instagram is a great place to share projects, connect with other designers and find inspiration from all over the world. I'm constantly in awe of the ideas people come up with and how willing they are to offer advice to others in Instagram's creative community.
So far on Instagram I've been inspired by abstract artists slapping paint around and the delicate details of a florists bouquet. I've been inspired by the gradient of colors in a majestic landscape painting and the rough textures of an old worn down building. All of these things are pushing my surface designs to the next level and inspiring me to make better art.
Today I'm going to share with you a few of the Instagram feeds I'm loving right now...ones that are inspiring my creativity!

Holy cow...where do I start! I love the dark, gothic feel of this feed, and swoon over Eloise's illustrations...they are magical. she is very much a storyteller with her dark fairytales.

Danielle has been posting sweet little watercolors on her feed as part of #the100dayproject. I love how every day you get a little glimpse into her world and her art. And it's cool to see how Danielle's work has progressed over the 100 days.

The artist behind this feed likes to use extra thick gooey paint to create abstracts and sculptures. The thicker the paint the better! I adore the texture of this artist's pieces and how the light and shadows play off their work. It encourages me to add more texture to my designs.

Wowza! This feed makes me swoon. Helen's watercolor paintings are intoxicating... I cannot get enough of the deep, saturated colors. If you paint with watercolors you have to check out her feed.

Texture, texture, texture! Lottie's feed provides a lot of inspiration for artists who are looking to incorporating new shapes and textures into their work. Her photo are amazing and I love exploring Saigon through her eyes.

Emily's feed has it all. Inspiring shapes, textures, colors! It's so fun to see what she'll post next. I know that every time I look at her feed I'll find something new and original that will get me thinking outside the box.

This feed inspires me in a different way than the others. While I like Mary's acrylic pours and artistic experiments, what really excites me is how she is just putting herself out there, being vulnerable, and creating from a place of love. It's fun to look through her feed and follow her journey.
What instagram feeds inspire you? I'm always on the lookout for new artists to follow!
