What is your process?
I paint with acrylics on canvas. Sometimes I incorporate mixed media elements (such as charcoal, fabric, papers, rope, oil pastels, etc) into my work. I chose an overall theme for each collection, but do not plan out each painting ahead of time. I love to just throw the paint on the canvas and see where it lands. Quite often I’ll end-up adding 4 or more layers to the canvas before I feel a piece is done. It is only after I am done with a piece, and can sit with it for awhile that I give the painting a title.
Prints of my artwork are made at a small printing shop in Texas. I use high quality files and have the artwork printed on premium archival matte paper.
